Haier America, a leading provider of electronics and home appliances, today announced the ibiza™ Rhapsody®, a new class of Wi-Fi portable media players that combine an advanced music experience with Wi-Fi enabled access to unlimited digital entertainment possibilities. With the ibiza Rhapsody, consumers can now enjoy the Rhapsody digital music service, AOL Video and other digital content from just about anywhere there¡¯s an available Wi-Fi hotspot. The Elegance, a slim and rounded black phone from Haier America Wireless, received the ¡°runner up¡± spot for the T3 Gadget Awards ¡°Drop Dead Gorgeous Award¡± issues by Futurenet.com, based in London. A recent article on MSN.com labeled the Haier Convertible Bottom Drawer Refrigerator as a new appliance trend. The caption under a large color picture describes the everyday benefits of the popular unit. A recent issue of popular trade magazine Homeworld Business featured a large color spread on the release of the Aqua Fontana, Haier¡¯s Bottom-Mount Water Dispenser (image below). Entitled ¡°Haier Turns the Water Cooler On its Head,¡± the article describes the benefits of this innovative water cooler, and includes insights from Michael Jemal, President and CEO of Haier America. Warren Mann, Haier¡¯s Vice President of Sales for Major Appliances, was a guest on the nationally aired television program ¡°Kitchen Spaces.¡± He discussed some of Haier¡¯s latest innovations, including the Convertible Bottom Drawer refrigerator, the Genesis washer, and top-of-the-line wine cellars and dishwashers.
